Privilege and Privacy of the Mighty
Famous and mighty people consult with equally mighty and professional Astrologers, but anyone can claim to be an astrologer. Can they invade the Horoscopes of others, and is there a guarantee of privacy even if you are in the public eye?

The Billionaire J.P Morgan the founder of the Morgan Bank consulted with the famous Astrologer Evangeline Adams who said that “J. Pierpont Morgan, the world’s biggest financier drove the world before him because he had astrology behind him.”
Evangeline Adams wrote in her book Astrology for Everyone (1913): “Facing me across the desk on which I’m writing these words, is a chair which I call the Seat of the Mighty. In it and in it’s now decrepit predecessors nearly hundred thousand people have sat.
John Burroughs has sat in that char; so have James J Hill and William Jennings Bryan and Enrico Caruso, and the late J. Pierpont Morgan and Richard Harding Davis and Joseph Jefferson and Lillian Nordica, and Lady Paget, and Hezekiah Butterworth, and Minot J Savage. Do you wonder that to me it has been, and still is the Seat of the Mighty?
If you have ever had your horoscope read it may seem strange to you that these personages should come to Evangeline Adams to ask advice as to how to make money, how to make love, how to male happiness. If I were not so firmly convinced of astrology’s infallibility, I too might wonder. But no matter how much or how little they have learned from me, there is no limit to the amount which I have learned from them”.
Those who know, keep quiet
It is because of this power and insight of true Astrology that those who know its insights do not speak about it. Their Astrologers, like their medical doctors keep the confidence of their clients, or do they?
Client confidentiality is crucial in the client Astrologer relationship, in the right hands Astrology can be a powerful tool, it can be equally powerful in the wrong hands, and it is for this reason that many have lied about their birth-details.
In a world where the ignorant gossip about the lives and wellbeing of others, many keep their birth-details a secret and I cannot blame them. It is not that they are hiding a secret, but that they are aware of the potency of real Astrology.
It was so obvious when the news broke about President Reagan and his Astrologer which many claimed they were until the real Astrologer wrote her account of what really happened, and what an important role true Astrology actually played.
Client Confidentiality
Beyond the quick-fix astro-gossip and astro-media-capsules is a powerful Astrological diagnostic and prediction tool, and I, like many have used this to great effect and with great success, each client and Astrological consultation brings with it great responsibility.
It is that confidentiality that can be so easily betrayed especially by those who so eagerly discuss their clients and brag with their latest famous conquest.
I remember how in the 1970’s when I consulted with an experienced astrologer and teacher, someone I held in great esteem, and how during a paid consultation she merely interrupted our discussion and reached out to show me the chart of her famous client, and proceeded to relate to me his personal details.
It was a major reality check for me: I lost respect for this so-called great astrologer; I mistrusted her, and learned a valuable lesson. However I was also privy to that famous person’s horoscope and personal affairs which he had discussed with his then trusted astrologer – years later he became one of my many long-term paying clients.
Astro-Info-Junkies
Astrologers depend on accurate times for their insights, it gives us insight, and because of that we learn so much about the people who consult and trust us, it also gives us great insight into the lives of others, the famous and the infamous, be they dead or alive.
You can then imagine why astrologers are so eager to discover the right-birth-time for those they are curious about. You can imagine too, why people lie about there birth-details.
As Astrologers we are keen to share and promote Astrology, it is also easy to get caught in the media frenzy about those in the spotlight and public eye, and those who are true friends of Astrology.
Accurate Birth-times
Astrologers learn from observing the charts of others, the charts of famous people is a great source of learning as we test and re-confirm our Astrology, this is how we learn to hone our skills, but a given birth-time is not a guarantee of accuracy.
A reading from a wrong chart does not imply that the Astrologer is wrong, but it does test the accuracy of our craft, science and art, as well as our Astrological expertise.
In over three decades of Astrological insight I too have had to learn to control my need to know, and because we have no guarantee of the accuracy of the birth times of the lives we investigate, I have always been hesitant about discussing the charts of famous people. Analysing wrongly timed charts is not only embarrassing for the Astrologer, it brings Astrology into discredit.
Incorrect Birth-times
Reading through my research files, I have uncovered some fascinating insights; here are few astro-cases of incorrect birth-times and therefore incorrect birth-charts, no matter what some may say, a wrong astrological chart is wrong and is not true Astrology.
Princess Diana of Wales gave different birth-times to different astrologers, very conveniently it is has been claimed by some clever astrologers that those different birth-charts show the private and the public Diana. Ok, perhaps, nice try, but even though that time discrepancy is a few hours, can those charts be valid, and what does it say about true Astrology, which is not clairvoyance nor channelling, and Astrologers are not sangomas either?
How will those who think this way, then explain their incorrect charts written for Elizabeth, The Queen Mother who’s birthday, birth time and birth place is suspect because her father failed his legal obligation in 1900 reporting her birth a month or so late, even then the time and day is disputed?
Wallace Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor and the Duke of Windsor’s relationship charts give much food for thought, the charts so royally discussed are simply wrong because of a one year error. How will those astrologers explain that particular so-called compatible relationship-chart?
Consider the birth chart of Katherine Hepburn, who elected to give out the incorrect chart with a 6-month discrepancy. Bing Crosby’s birth-time - like many other - give much food for thought: he was either born on 2 May 1901, or 2 May 1904, or 30 May 1904?
Even Nelson Mandela’s birth time was analysed with pride by many with an incorrect birth year.
I personally have given out the incorrect details to those annoying ones who invade one’s privacy because they just want to vapour with one’s chart.
I wonder what exactly they are discussing, and why they deemed it fit to know my beloved’s birth-time - an incorrect time was given just to get rid of a few tacky astrologers who insisted on invading our privacy and brag because they “know”- “know” what exactly, and proof of what exactly?
It can however be such a delicious game, people can speak such rubbish, a favourite incident of mine was when one such prominent astrologer remarked that "they could see a man was a Capricorn Ascendant because of his great hairy back...". Do you suppose he was born under the sign of the monkey, or gorilla, I enquired?
It reminds me of the false power so called teachers have, a lady about town who give clairvoyant readings and teach healing and channel all sorts, said that "she always scan the auras's of people at the airport before a trip to know it the plane would crash"....go figure, and people hang on her every word, like they do with so many guru's: especially the one who remarked at one of his many astro-lectures that "they were not sure if a person was actually listening, because Pisceans tend to sleep with their eyes open", what a yawn, such dribble, so the fishy astro-tales continue and I'm sure you have heard many.
Like those who channel astrology, becasue it shows the highest evolved souls, these are the ones who could not be bothered with the complexity of real Astrology, for the same reasons many can simply not fathom Astrology and channel the Tarot. Honesty is your best policy
Be mindful that if you chose to give an incorrect time when you consult an Astrologer, you are wasting your time and money, and doing yourself, not Astrology a disservice. As with all Astrology the onus is on you, and not the Astrologer.
To test Astrology is futile; it is as the great English Astrologer William Lilly said: Those that take this sober course, shall find the truth in what they enquire after; but whosoever do otherwise, deceive both themselves, and the artist, for a foolish Querent may cause a wise Respondent to err, which brings a scandal upon Art (Astrology) amongst inconsiderable people, whereas the Astrologer is not blameable, but the ignorant silly Querent. William Lilly (1602 – 1681): wrote Christian Astrology (1647), predicted the Great Fire of London (1666).
William Lilly was Astrologer to King Charles I and many prominent parliamentarians, and a friend of Sir Elias Ashmole, who founded the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
William Lilly, like Evangeline Adams were in their time each charged for calculating charts, they both appeared before the judiciary and both in their time successfully proved the natural laws and validity of Astrology.
