Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse: 11 March 2006 PREDICTION ANC Crisis until 2008 the Meton Cycle
7 March 2006 Sorting out right from wrong will save us from going to the dogs. We like to say that history repeats itself: accordingly the astrology patterns and cycles do recur, just as the have for thousands of years, especially the 19-year Moon-cycles which are unchanging but we are not, nor are the patterns and circumstances of our lives. The discontent and political strife can pose a big risk. The trial of Jacob Zuma and the post-election squabbles will be the focus which will continue until 2008. The challenge is to seek moral and spiritual justice.

Lunar Eclipse 17 October 2005 and Avian Flu and 1918
17 October 2005 Charting the course of the Avian Flu threat There was Lunar Eclipse on Monday October 17 - the world’s media highlighted the threat of Avian flu. Flu news stayed in the headlines all week as anxiety spread through Europe and Asia. I was fascinated to find that the word influenza was first recorded in 1743 after a great flu epidemic in Italy. The word derives from the Latin “influencia”, meaning influence based on the word “fluere” meaning “to flow”. It was related to “the influence that flows from the stars” and touches on human affairs. In the same way that the word “disaster” derives from “aster” meaning star and the prefix “dis”, meaning an evil stellar influence, influenza was seen to be some kind of stroke of Fate.

OCTOBER ECLIPSES AND MARS IN TAURUS: 15 OCTOBER 2005
10 October 2005 Why patience must tame the raging Taurus bull. We are still sitting between the two eclipses, the Libra annular eclipse of October 3 and the partial Lunar eclipse of the Aries Full Moon on October 17. I don’t like to be fatalistic about eclipses but the headlines have shown us what a time of trepidation this is. Terror alerts on the New York subways; appalling floods and mud slides in South America; grim news about the threat of avian flu; an indecisive election in Germany and, most recently, the fatal earthquakes in Pakistan have expressed the unsettled energy of this period.

SOLAR ECLIPSE: 19 MARCH 2007 PREDICTION DISCONTENT BREEDS A SHADOW FOR 2007 AND 2010
1 March 2007 The Eclipse is in the 1st house of the people: is it any wonder then that this Eclipse shows our Rainbow Nation being over-shadowed by crime and a discontent labour force struggling to make ends meet? The Jupiter Uranus square that is active from January to October 2007 shows a struggle to reach an agreement, the leaders may well say we are over-reacting, but is this situation really as dire as it seems? The way South Africa deals with these issues will have a direct bearing on the conditions of 2010. For related articles search 2010 on LightStrider website
